THE GREEN SCHOOLHOUSE SERIES
The Green Schoolhouse Series incorporates a healthy, environmentally-friendly and energy efficient component to each Green Schoolhouse Project.

There are four projects under the Green Schoolhouse Series, The Safari Schoolhouse, The Studio Schoolhouse, The Loft Schoolhouse and a bilingual, bicultural Schoolhouse, Tierra Verde. The schoolhouses
are used as added classroom space during the day, to facilitate educational after-school programs in the afternoons and for nonprofit and community groups on nights and weekends.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
- Schoolhouses built each year
- Built on existing school campuses
- 6,000 to 12,000 sq ft sustainable designs
- Schoolhouses are gifts to qualifying school districts
- Each facility will be used to educate students, faculty, and the community
- Schoolhouses implement bicultural and bilingual programs
- 30-day compressed building window
- Led by professional contractors, architects, and tradesmen
- Built by volunteers and local community
- Tutors, administrators, and recently-retired seniors lead each program
- Districts can use facility during school hours, evenings, and weekends
- All programs are after school from 3-6p
